About Us
Portugal, set at the table.
There is a particular light in Portugal that is warm, unhurried, ancient. It falls differently on the terraced slopes of the Douro, on the Atlantic cliffs of Arrábida, on the whitewashed lanes of Ericeira. It is a light that has shaped a people, a pace, a culture of gathering around the table.
Casa Luzza was born from that light.
We work with artisans whose craft has been passed down across generations, hands that know the weight of clay, the pull of a brush, the quiet patience that good things require. Each collection is rooted in a place: its colours, its textures, its story. From the wavy edges of Douro to the leaf motifs of Évora, from the ocean blues of Nazaré to the wildflowers of the Alentejo plains, every piece carries something of where it came from.
Slight variations in line and glaze are not imperfections. They are proof that a human hand was here.
We believe the table is one of the last places we truly slow down. A place for long lunches, unhurried conversations, and the simple pleasure of a meal shared well. Our pieces are made to live there, used, loved, and passed on.
Bring Portugal to your table.
